ZINN

So Howard Zinn has died at 87, and "the (far) left"/anti-capitalists, -imperialists and and anarchists have lost a huge voice for their cause.

Usually commenters reveal the human race's darkest cognitive abilities, but this comment on the above linked post is particularly poignant and speaks to Zinn's work in a consise, articulate manner:

"Make that money. Just know there’s almost always a social, environmental, and/or economic cost associated with the cold pursuit of that dollar. And I’m pretty sure Zinn has donated most of the money he’s made to causes fighting against current injustices."

Sure, his name is "Poop," but sounds about right.
